Civic Activities:
Mr. Harris has been active in neighborhood associations and is a past president of both the Beachview Heights Civic Association, as well as his current neighborhood group, The Whitney-Cecil Civic Association.
Music:
In addition to his legal work, Mr. Harris is an accomplished musician, with the guitar as his primary instrument. He has written, performed, engineered, and recorded multiple songs performing all parts, including the musical and vocal elements, on multitrack equipment in his home. Most of these were written many years ago, so they are not "modern" songs, and are just "demos" on ancient equipment. Mr. Harris was inspired by '60s music since he grew up during that decade and felt that the music of that era has never been surpassed.
